Clara
The Clara lamp collection was born to answer a specific request from Contardi: to create an outdoor collection designed for the contract market.
The result is a portable lantern with a nomadic soul, which, thanks to the company's remarkable expertise in selecting and working materials, gives off a warm, evocative, almost magical light. The project is signed by Chiara Caberlon, in collaboration with designer Marco Forbicioni.
Clara offers an elegant reinterpretation of the classic lantern: the diffuser, made from resin with a rattan cane effect, ensures an even 360-degree distribution of light through a process of refraction that softens every beam.
The frame, available in matte white lacquer or bronze, is completed by a ring at the top that works as both a handle and a hook, a functional detail that allows the lantern to be hung or moved with a single gesture.
In the medium and large versions, the upper part can be detached from the diffuser and turned into an independent portable torch, powered by a rechargeable battery with a USB-C port and up to 8-10 hours of battery life. Over time, the original battery-powered collection has been joined by a wired version too, in which the handle becomes fixed and the light source moves to the base, allowing for an even more harmonious diffusion of light.
Whether hung from a tree, placed on the ground to light a path, or arranged in a row along an outdoor dining table, Clara moves just as naturally between a private garden and the common areas of a resort or hotel.
