Sheraton Milan San Siro
With the opening of the Sheraton Milan San Siro, Marriott International continues its growth in Italy, gifting the city a new, prestigious urban oasis. Located in the green, residential district of San Siro, the hotel is the result of a €60 million renovation of the former Hotel Brun, a historic Milanese landmark long associated with football, thanks to its proximity to the stadium.
Conceived, developed and designed by Studio Chiara Caberlon, the project draws inspiration from the city of Milan, its colours and its urban charm, following an urban resort model with custom furnishings tied to the city's architectural character.
A curved modernist architecture defines the building's main structure, echoed throughout the public and private interior spaces through a clean, refined design, where 1960s references engage in dialogue with natural finishes and colours.
"Bleisure" is the keyword guiding every stylistic choice: the goal is a fluid environment, able to interpret the brand's international spirit while turning it into an oasis of comfort. From the reception to the lobby, from the lounge bar to the restaurant, guests move through different interpretations of style and levels of privacy, in a harmonious fusion of indoor and outdoor spaces.
At Silene Bar & Restaurant, the large communal table naturally encourages sharing and flexibility, while El Patio del Gaucho, by Javier Zanetti, offers Argentine cuisine with a strong identity, designed to become the city's reference steakhouse.
The chosen colours evoke Milan's dual nature, urban and green: greys and sand tones blend with the leaden blues of the sky and the shades of the surrounding nature. In the corridors, a carpet pattern designed by the studio guides guests toward their rooms, reappearing on the wardrobe doors and in the room's upholstery. The rooms follow a sober, linear style, with touches of steel blue and deep purple defining a distinctive character, while the Elite Spa and Wellness San Siro offers a soft-toned retreat in the heart of the metropolis.
The result is a place designed down to the smallest detail, offering intimate corners even within the vastness of its communal spaces: a refuge shielded from the pace of Milan, designed to welcome, share and reconnect.
